Doodling has always been a part of my life, aiding to soothe the vigorous thoughts of the mind and enhance the facilitation of getting into the body.
The MonStar range, is one I hold dear to my heart, as it initiated the desire to share my work. Each MonStar has its own unique character, essence, personality and magical wonder. A reminder of our own individuated magic. Their vibrant, imperfect and childlike nature serve as an invitation to honor our own childlike essence.
The MonStars have also initiated and played a pertinent role in fostering the conception of my abstract pieces. These remain highly experimentational, ever evolving and continuously playful. Just like the universe itself. Dropsheets, left over paint and the clearing and cleaning of brushes aid form the base and origin of these more conceptual pieces.
The use of acrylics, markers, pastes and occasional oils form the foundation of these creations. Being born and bred a proud South African has also attested to my adoption and celebration of bringing the rainbow nation into fruition through her art.
My work wishes to invoke the removal of any veil and mask. Connect us closer to source. Closer to creation and to the divine creator within each of us. Celebrating the beauty of life and the magic of creativity.

After 6yrs in Corporate & 12, highly successful ones, running a strategy & insight generation company, the call for something different began to birth through … Quite literally. A more embodied, expressive and authentic way of being began to gestate within myself.
The call to infuse more vibrancy, colour, movement and magic into this majestic but troubled world was palpable. The remembrance to be a part of creating and birthing a new earth, through inspired art was undeniable.
This new world is one where each magical beings’ design, light, hu(e)maness and unique essence is acknowledged, celebrated and understood.
At first, the contractions began with channeling’s of ‘The MonStars’ and have consequently continued to progress to other forms of creative expression.
